Have you ever asked the question, “Why me?” Well this is what this painting is all about. I have imagined what it would be like to be able to ask Jesus, "why me". I have always depicted Jesus as an everyday hard working person, so I put him in an everyday working situation. I chose McDonald's because after my transplant I stayed at the Ronald McDonald house in Philadelphia. The scene shows Jesus trying to answer that tough question. An answer that changes every time I think about it. By the way, we are eating a fish sandwich on bread and drinking a Cheerwine. Get it?
